Well it happened, I finally made it to an “all Canada show”, and if it weren’t for my dad, I’d have the highest score on the hunting game too! Being an avid (and by that I mean nutso) fisherman, my father has gone to Canada many times in search of large walleye, pike, bass, and other types of fish. And I have been invited to join in the fun this year at Cedar Point Lodge. This will be an upcoming story about our 9 days and 10 nights of living the dream of being so far north that it gets dark for just a few hours a day, and when it is light the fish are biting. So stay tuned, the trip is booked so now it’s just a matter of time before the story unfolds. This group has been going to Cedar Point Lodge for several years because of the great hospitality provided by the lodge, it’s guides, and staff. I maintain they must know where the fish are as well, both Mike and Dad have been in their brochure with some really nice fish. The deer hunting is pretty good there too as both Dad and Mike both picked up a couple of mounted deer heads they earned on a trip a couple of years ago.
