Pewaukee Lake, a Wisconsin treasure

Pewaukee Wisconsin is an area which has grown leaps and bounds over the last 15 years or so, new business, new homes, and a lot of apartments and condominiums have made this one of the fastest growing areas in the state. One area seems to be primed for a different experience all together is Pewaukee lake. Known for large pike, great boating, and several sailing events, this lake is 2437acres in size, making it one of the larger lakes in the area. The max depth of Pewaukee is 45 feet, this makes it almost perfect for fishing habitat. At the east end of the lake is the downtown Pewaukee area boasting fine dining, shops, and a great beach area.
